Ron DeSantis Is Bringing in Lawyers to Take on Joe Biden

( – The border crisis is one of the biggest issues plaguing the country. As soon as President Joe Biden took office on January 21, 2021, one of his first orders of action was to undo former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies — even if it spurred chaos. All one has to do is take a look at the number of apprehensions and the flights taking place under the cover of darkness to realize that the Biden Administration has bitten off more than it can chew. Now, one state is doing all it can to curb these practices.

Florida Steps Up With Legal Action

On Wednesday, February 2, Florida’s Attorney General, Ashley Moody, announced the state was taking legal action against the Biden Administration for its “Parole + Alternatives to Detention” policy. Under this initiative, the government isn’t starting the process for the removal of border crossers, but rather transferring them to various locations throughout the country. Worse yet, according to an exclusive Breitbart News report, it’s costing taxpayers more than half a billion dollars, and it’s circumventing federal law.

Then, there’s the fact that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is letting illegal immigrants travel anywhere in the United States with just a warrant or notice to appear as identification.

This isn’t the only action Florida has taken in respect to protecting its citizens. Last year, Governor Ron DeSantis (R) led the charge in suing the Biden Administration by challenging vaccine mandates and its catch-and-release border practices.

More Trouble for the Biden Administration

Florida also recently joined in another lawsuit against the Biden Administration for its reinstatement of the Central America Minors (CAM) program, which former President Barack Obama founded. This lawsuit involves several other Republican-led states: Texas, Missouri, Montana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Alaska and Indiana, and came about after a border summit hosted by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The CAM program allows minor immigrants to obtain protected status, even though they entered the country illegally. The main issue is after they’ve received this status, they can petition for their families to join them without having to go through the necessary legal channels, further putting the country at risk.

Florida’s complaint in this lawsuit is that it spends more than $100 million per year incarcerating illegal immigrants who have committed crimes.

It goes without saying that the border situation is out of control, and the Biden Administration is only making things worse. By taking action, Ron DeSantis and Ashley Moody are showing they care about their constituents and doing right by them.
