Trump Ally Named Named In Assassination PLOT
(NewsBroadcast.com) – The Islamic Republic of Iran was formed when Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was forced to flee the country, and a group of fundamentalist Muslims instituted a strict form of Sharia law in the country in February 1979. By the end of that year, they had stormed the United States Embassy in Tehran, taken some of the staff hostage, and have generally been very anti-America and -Israel since; so, it should come as no surprise that they would make threats against the lives of people who have served in those governments.

Mike Pompeo served as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and as the Secretary of State under former President Donald Trump. He is also one of Iran’s biggest targets. Threats against him and former aide Brian Hook seem to be centered around a 2020 drone strike that killed General Qasem Soleimani when he was in Baghdad, Iraq.
A Twitter account allegedly associated with the current regime posted a picture of Pompeo with crosshairs centered on his forehead and referenced another tweet purportedly sent by the general’s daughter Zainab advising him to “live in fear.”

The current administration is providing 24/7 security for the two men because of the “real and ongoing” threats against them at a reported cost of $2 million per month. The 2022 Annual Threat Assessment that was released in March noted the adversarial government is a threat to American officials and wants to develop a network in the US.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently told Congress that they are committed to protecting those who are serving or who have served the government.
